We loved our stay at Jamal's Hike and Chill hostel. The host himself is super nice, he made us the most wonderful breakfast. This is the first time we have encountered European style hostel in Morocco and I must say it was fun meeting all the other tourists and people staying at this place. Also I highly recommend everyone to visit Tinerhir and its nearby Todra Gorge. It is a beautiful town with very polite people. During our journey through the south of Morocco, this was the city where we felt most welcomed.

My wife and I loved this place for multiple reasons. The environment was very relaxing. Before arriving in the hotel, we had initially planned to visit Ait Ben Haddou, however, we decided to stay in the hotel because it was very peaceful. Furthermore, our room was very beautiful and the bed was very comfy. The dinner was fantastic!! the chef made an awesome dinner that it was the best dinner we had in our stay in Morocco. We totally recommend this hotel if you are travelling in the South of Morocco.

One of the most astonishing stays during our road trip across Morocco’s South. Besides very delicious breakfast and dinner options as well as traditionally and careful decorated common areas and rooms (which are equally beautiful) it’s the location in itself that is a dream come true. No matter if from the pool or from the little hill climb behind the paradise, one has the most incredible view over the entire town, Kasbah and valley until your eyes vanish into the 360 horizons.

Very nice clean tidy place! On my trip I stayed in 5 different budget places in central/southern Morocco, and this one was the best of them. The owner Mohamed is really nice guy, always there for you if you need some help, gives you tips for great places you can visit. The property is easily accessible from the main road (don't let google maps tell you otherwise when you are driving), it is short walking distance to some nice restaurants.

Moulay and the crew at Atlas were nothing short of superb, I have been to Morocco many times and this was the most enchanting and majical place to visit. Todgha gorge in my opinion is the perfect place and if travelling south east it’s a must see. the food is also divine at Atlas auberge. and the location is a literally paradise.. thank you for your amazing hospitality.. we also had an excellent massage in the next village.. 🙏🕉️🪷🧡

We enjoyed one night and a nice dinner and conversation. The house is in the middle of the "oasis" you need a very nice five minute walk to get to the place, where you cross a little river and see how the farm the land. We enjoyed the peaceful ambience and had a great rest to continue the journey around the South of Morocco. Hot water took a little time to go out but is working just need to have patience.

the Location of the hotel is extraordinary. After we had seen the whole gorge we agreed that the Location of the hotel is the Best. The Hotel itself is very nice, clean and absolutly perfect to start a walk from here in the valley. you can eat in the Hotel. Hasna was the best cook we had through our Journey in the south. Breakfast is extraordinary. Mohamed was very helpful finding the hiking-tour. Best experience.

Love the charm of Mimid’s Dunes Beach. Does not give you the routine chain hotel vibe at all. Warm Family run business. I was craving a tagine that was not on the menu and the chef made it for me. The lamb just melted in your mouth, absolutely delicious. A little Oasis in the south of Morocco, would definitely recommend and can’t wait to be back. Hot weather in December, Amazing

For people making a road trip through Morocco this is the right place for an overnight stay south of the Altas mountains. The property is extraordinary with a medieval kashba connected to the square-shaped hotel with inside-garden. The service by a super-nice team/family is excellent, serving the best tajine we have tasted during our trip and in for an interesting conversation.

Convenient location if you are on the way from Agadir (or further south) to Essaouira, Marrakesh (or further north). It's directly at the road, therefore somehow noisy; but not too much traffic between 10 pm. and 8 am. The room was nice and everything was there; hot water working. Breakfast was quite good with fresh juice and the usual bread-cheese-jam combination.

Perfect location in a u bend high up on the mountain pass overlooking the Southern stone desert. In January it felt more like a mountain refuge than a hotel. Rooms are basic but comfortable. We had a three course dinner prepared by our friendly host and served by the open fire. A good breakfast was served at the sunny terrace, unforgettable.

It's already been said but the breakfast and dinner are phenomenal. The staff make this place, a great group of guys you can chill with. They make it feel super homely. Also the desert trip was insane, we ended up extending and doing a bigger trip around the south of Morocco and to the mountains. Shout out to Adil, you're a legend!

This hotel is an oasis of cleanliness and calm in the midst of a rather grungy city at the southern edge of the Todhra gorge. Being built into an old castle gives the hotel a unique charm that can't be replicated in modern construction. Certainly the nicest hotel in town, although that's not saying much given the town.

Very nice host Annas.big apartment.powerfull shower.big fridge.just behind the central bus/taxi station-easy catch coach/taxi anytime and everywhere.10-15 minutę walk to Ouarzazate center.also very close to airpot-dont need taxi or so! recomend this property for everybodyto start point for south Morocco.

L'Arganier d'Ammeln -with its rooftop terrace- offers views on the Anti-Atlas that are hard to beat. The place has a supercosy, homely feel to it, whilst at the same time giving the visitor an authentic taste of southern Morocco. Friendly, forthcoming staff that will look after your needs.

Cute and cozy guesthouse; makes an excellent stopover point on the way south; super-friendly French owners (English is spoken); nice garden, sun loungers, and swimming pool; best WiFi we had in Morocco; excellent couscous dinner; parking on site; great value for the price.

the large pool oriented southwest is the best part, the garden is also done with a lot of taste, the rooms have a more hotel feeling than home, but are spacious, the terrace on the first floor is also great for the morning sun

We had just one night at Maison d' hotel Ghalil. After a big car tour of southern Morocco, this hotel was just what we needed. Friendly staff, a hot shower and comfy beds. The meals and breakfast were also top notch.

The only positive thing is the really outstanding oasis around the camp-side. Definitely, a must-see when driving through the southern part of Morocco.
